ATK High Performance Ford 502 515 hp Stage 1 long block crate engines use a smaller camshaft which will have a slightly smoother idle and has vacuum for power brakes. ATK Stage 1 or base engines are designed for those that may have their own component parts already, and who also are interested in completing out the build themselves.
